ERA has Professional Structural Engineers who are registered in 49 states, and provide services internationally. 

Adam Lindberg, PE

Adam has twelve years of experience in the structural engineering industry. He is responsible for engineering, drawings, specifications and the construction administration of projects.

Brett Notvedt, PE

Brett has 15 years of experience in the structural engineering industry, specializing in retail and fitness facilities. As a project manager, Brett is responsible for design project management, proposals, billing, budgeting, client relations, design, specifications, quality assurance and construction administration.

Colleen Berg

Colleen is an Office Manager and Associate who joined the firm in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in the Business and Accounting field with a main focus in the engineering industry.

Colleen is responsible for the financial operations of the company as well as managing human resources and employee benefits. Her experience includes working with project managers, collaborating with leadership on financial information and decisions, and interaction with employees that encourages open communication.

Doug Hafften

Doug is a Senior Project Coordinator and Associate with over 30 years of experience in the structural engineering industry, with a strong emphasis in Precast Concrete.

He is responsible for the oversight of precast projects which ERA has been hired for the design and drafting for various precast suppliers.

Jamie Richardson

Jamie is an Associate and the CAD/BIM Manager. He joined the firm in 1996 as a structural designer and, over time, completely modernized its AutoCAD customization.

Jamie has been instrumental in the implementation of Revit Structure for BIM. Jamie's responsibilities include staffing, quality control and oversight of all Revit production. His experience includes working with several project types and structural systems which include the U of M Riverbend Commons, the US Bank Corp Building and The Guthrie on the River in Minneapolis. Jamie has been a speaker at Autodesk University, a contributor to industry publications, as well as coauthor of the books Mastering Revit Structure 2009 & 2010.

John T. Madden, PE

John is a senior professional engineer with over 15 years of experience in the structural engineering industry. He is responsible for design project management, billing, budgeting, quality assurance, construction administration and client relations.

Kent Larson

Kent is ERA’s Director of Business Development. He has over 35 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, seven with ERA. He leads our marketing activities, and has been instrumental with his extensive knowledge and contacts in the industry to help establish strategic growth, new business relationships, and market opportunities for ERA.

Michael A. DeSutter, PE (Mike)

Mike is President/Partner and has over 30 years of experience as a structural engineer. His experience lies in the design and project management of multi-story, mixed-use, mid to high rise structures.

Mike's previous experience as an engineering department head at two construction companies offers a unique skill set to our clients. His creative use of materials, production processes, and ability to solve challenging structural issues has helped many of our clients meet their project pro-formas. Mike also holds two U.S. Patents and has published several articles ranging from high rise construction, connection detailing, to blast resistant analysis and design.

Michael S. Steenson, PE (Mike)

Mike is a Senior Professional Engineer and Associate with almost 20 years of experience in the structural engineering industry, all with ERA. His career began with an internship and rolled into full-time employment immediately upon graduation.

Mike's current responsibilities include staffing, quality control and oversight of Target retail and distribution center projects.

Ryan Mooney

Ryan is the Structural Design Team Leader for ERA’s Target Team. Since 2004, he has gained experience in designing every type of Target project. Since 2006, Ryan has produced multiple projects 100% in Revit Structure, lately nearly all of them. He is also proficient in Microstation, AutoCad, Bluebeam and various other Autodesk platforms.

Ryan S. Bonniwell, PE, SE

Ryan is a professional engineer with over ten years of experience in the structural engineering industry. He is responsible for engineering drawings, specifications and the construction administration of projects.

Stephen J. Clark, PE, SE (Steve)

Steve is a Senior Project Manager and Associate with over 25 years of experience in the structural engineering industry. He oversees several ongoing structural projects.

Steve is responsible for engineering/drawings, specifications and the construction administration of projects.

Terry D. Nuesse, PE

Terry is a Division Manager and Associate with over 15 years of experience in the structural engineering industry. He oversees several ongoing structural projects.

Terry is responsible for engineering/drawings, specifications and the construction administration of projects. Terry also manages ERA’s Eau Claire, WI office.

Timothy A. Morey, PE

Tim is a senior professional engineer with 22 years of experience in the structural engineering industry. Tim is an expert in the field of precast structural design. He is a leader on ERA’s precast team with a long history of precast design experience. He is responsible for design project management, design quality assurance, construction administration and client relations.

Troy Hutton

Troy began his career in the industry and with ERA in 1991. Over the past three years Troy has produced multiple projects 100% in Revit Structure.

William T. Buller, PE, SE (Bill)

Bill is a Vice President/Partner and has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of design. He is responsible for oversight of several ongoing structural projects which currently include multiple Target Stores nationwide.

Bill’s responsibilities include design and coordination of structural projects, staffing and quality control.
